Mr. Moody’s extensive experience includes defending and prosecuting matters involving construction law, real estate disputes, contract disputes, business torts, commercial landlord/tenant disputes, employment/labor law, and appeals. He also advises corporate clients, boards, and nonprofits on general corporate governance, company structures, non-compete and non-solicitation agreements, intellectual property, and fiduciary responsibilities.
Mr. Moody began his law practice in 2003, with the litigation section of Jackson Walker, LLP in Austin, Texas. Immediately prior to joining Cain & Skarnulis, he spent thirteen years at Craddock Massey, LLP. Mr. Moody is licensed to practice in all courts in the state of Texas, as well as the United States District Courts for the Western, Eastern, Southern, and Northern Districts of Texas, as well as the United States Bankruptcy Courts for the Western and Southern Districts of Texas. Mr. Moody has authored several publications throughout his career.
Mr. Moody graduated in the top 15% of his law school class at Baylor University School of Law in 2003. While at Baylor, he was an Executive Editor of the Baylor Law Review and enjoyed being named to the Baylor Law School Dean’s List. Mr. Moody received his B.A. from the University of Texas in 1998.
Mr. Moody serves on the Board of Directors for the Texas School for the Deaf Foundation. He is also a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation. He and his wife live in Austin with their teenage son.
