TJ Turner has practiced law in Austin for more than 20 years, beginning his career in state government before moving to private practice as a business litigator. During this time, TJ has had the opportunity to represent both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of industries including construction, biomedical, real estate, beer and liquor distribution, and private equity. He has also handled disputes involving the State, both representing governmental entities and officials as an assistant attorney general, and representing individuals and businesses before state agencies in private practice. Blair Dancy is Board Certified in Insurance Law and mediates insurance coverage and extra-contractual disputes. With a trial lawyer's background, he is intimately familiar with the intersection of third-party liability disputes and underlying litigation, including the effects of anti-indemnity statutes, priority of coverage among multiple policies, the intersection of additional insured coverage and contractual indemnity, and claims with mixed coverages. He has prosecuted two Stowers suits through trial, including an $8 million judgment that he successfully had affirmed in Am. Guarantee & Liab. Ins. Co. v. ACE Am. Ins. Co., 990 F.3d 842 (5th Cir. 2021). He also handles first-party commercial claims including business interruption, property claims, and reps-and-warranties coverage.
