His broad transactional experience includes advising borrowers, lenders, property owners, tenants, buyers, sellers, and various other interested parties with regard to real estate matters and related issues. He regularly serves as a general advisor to business clients, helping them navigate various transactional and strategic issues. Mr. Springer has represented clients ranging in size from Fortune 100 banks to small startups. His client list includes oil field services companies, mini-storage facilities, RV parks, large and small banks, life insurance companies, residential and commercial developers, healthcare facilities, water well drillers, pipeline companies, and timber companies, as well as restaurants, legal recruiters, and music venues. 

Mr. Springer brings to the table the ability to move transactions efficiently toward completion, while keeping a trained eye on the important minute details involved. He prides himself on understanding clients' businesses and goals in order to assist them with the transaction at hand and to effectively issue-spot potential future problems and opportunities. He always works to put his clients in the best possible position for success. 

Previously, Mr. Springer was named a “Rising Star” Lawyer for 2007-2009 and 2011. He has served as Director of the Texas Young Lawyers Association and as Treasurer of his local Texas Young Lawyers Association chapter (Lubbock). He was a Member of the College of the State Bar of Texas from 2004-2015. His pro bono work has included service as a mediator for small claims cases. He currently serves on the Historic Preservation Commission for Buda, Texas.

Mr. Springer graduated cum laude from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2000. While in law school, he served as a contributor and editor for The Texas Bank Lawyer, and as technology editor for the Texas Tech School of Law Administrative Law Journal. He holds a Master of Science and a Master of Business Administration from Texas Tech, and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M.

Prior to joining Cain & Skarnulis, Mr. Springer was a shareholder in the Houston office of Winstead PC. In addition to being licensed to practice law in Texas, Mr. Springer has been licensed to practice in New Mexico since 2003.
