Joshua Eames-Cepero joined Cain & Skarnulis PLLC as an associate effective February 7, 2023. Josh is admitted to practice in the courts of the state of Texas, and all federal districts in Texas. His practice focuses on commercial litigation in both state and federal courts, ranging from business disputes and breaches of contract to fiduciary litigation, construction, intellectual property, and real property disputes. In addition, Josh assists with real estate transactions and appellate matters.

Josh graduated from University of Texas School of Law in 2018, where he served as the Administrative Editor for the Texas Intellectual Property Law Journal, as well as a member of the Texas Hispanic Journal of Law and Policy. He also volunteered his time working with the Texas Rio Grande Legal Aid organization where he tried his first bench trial and continues to work closely with TRLA and Volunteer Legal Services.

Prior to attending law school, Josh worked as a chemical engineer for several large companies including Bayer AG. A Texas native, Josh graduated from Rice University in 2013 and received a B.S. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and a B.A. in German Studies.

Originally from Houston, Josh now proudly calls Austin home. He enjoys traveling, is an avid participant in CrossFit, and enjoys spending time with friends and family.
