Randy Williams’ practice is focused on bankruptcy and creditors' rights. Mr. Williams is board certified in both Consumer and Business Bankruptcy by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. His is Panel Trustee for the Southern District of Texas since 1991, serving as case fiduciary in over 14,000 cases, as well as having been receiver appointed by Federal and State courts. As fiduciary, Mr. Williams supervises accounting functions, employees, operations, professionals, records maintenance and review, and regulatory compliance, including tax filings. He also acts as Trustee for chapter 11 debtors, plan agent, and liquidating trustee under confirmed plans of reorganization.
Mr. Williams graduated from the University of Houston Law Center in 1985 with honors, received his M.A. from Indiana University in 1982, and his B.A., with honors, from the University of Southern Carolina in 1980.
Mr. Williams is admitted to practice in the courts of Texas and New York, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals 5th Circuit, the U.S. District Court Northern District of Texas, the U.S. District Court Southern District of Texas, the U.S. District Court Western District of Texas, the U.S. District Court Southern District of New York, and the U.S. District Court Eastern District of Texas.
