Arc of the Arts Studio & Gallery provides an artistic bridge between people with developmental disabilities and the community. They teach a variety of art forms to these individuals with developmental disabilities who get the opportunity to sell their art in the gallery.
The mission of The Arc of the Capital Area is to provide personalized, community-based services that improve the quality of life for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (i.e., autism, mental retardation, cerebral palsy, and Down syndrome), and their caregivers. The Arc is viewed as the go-to organization for people with disabilities in Central Texas, and the most instrumental organization at increasing the self-sufficiency of people with disabilities, developing and strengthening the care-giving abilities of their families, and promoting community awareness of disability issues.
